I guess it took Hollywood a while to get to the scary stuff. Walking with zombies? That ain’t too scary. Poltergeists and Chainsaw Massacres? That’s the good stuff.
I love looking through vintage stuff. Things seemed so much more thoughtful and innocent back then.
Why did I read that ‘c’ in ‘corny’ as an ‘h’ then? Because those are just the times we live in *smh*
I wish I looked this put together. The slightly disheveled but still immaculately dressed. I pull off this look unintentionally but I look messy and I’m always adjusting things :/

Ball in honor of Tzar Alexander II in Helsingfors (Helsinki), September 1863 By Mihaly Zichy.
When I was younger, I used to read those ‘Princess Diary’ books. You know - Cleopatra, Elizabeth I, etc etc. It was all historical fiction, but I devoured it. These girls had more going on than I did. And, I always wished that I could have been a princess back then. Everything looks so significant, like it was special. Nothing feels special about the times we’re living in.
